“The key element to mental toughness is knowing there are things you can’t do because you’re sacrificing it for the greater good of a goal that’s in front of you.”
“If I compete against the best & beat the best, that’s what makes me a champion.”
“I truly believe that sacrifice to be a champion is necessary if that’s what you want to be.”
“Sometimes when you face adversity, all you have is yourself.”
“You’re going to win some, you’re to lose some. It’s how you react to it. A loss isn’t a loss if it’s a lesson, if you’re able to bounce back from it.”
“I did it in front of a 100,000 boos, people trying to deny me. It only took me, one person, to change everyone’s mindset in a stadium. That’s what it really meant to me.”
